LEED Recertification: When and How

Recertification is required within five years if you want to retain your ability to advertise your LEED-EBOM certification. But there are also other reasons why pursuing recertification is beneficial.

It’s an excellent way to confirm that your desired sustainability performance outcomes continue to be achieved over time. It helps you ensure that operational best practices established during the previous LEED-EBOM project continue to be implemented and optimized, even through changes like staff turnover or new vendors. It’s also a great opportunity to build on your previous success by pursuing a higher level of LEED certification.
